Several joined relatives and friends of Gregory Lewis aka ‘Peppers’, proprietor of the Water Chris Hotel and Restaurant, on Waterloo Street, Tuesday night for a wake. Among those at the gathering were Minister of State Joseph Harmon, Minister of Citizenship, Winston Felix and many other prominent officials.

Lewis, who died on December 23, will be laid to rest today. His body can be viewed at the Lyken Funeral Home from 1pm after which a funeral service will take place at the Sacred Heart Church on Main Street, Georgetown from 2pm. He was 64 years old at the time of his death.
