THE Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) has released the point standings of its various competitions, since the inclement weather has put a hold on all outdoor activities.
A release from Public Relations Officer Colin Alfred indicated as follows:
GISE, Trophy Stall & Star Party two-day division one cricket competition:
Zone A – Police Sports Club (57 points from two games), Everest Cricket Club (30 points from two games), and GCC (6 points from two games). The other two teams in that zone are DCC and Malteenoes, but they have not played a game to date.
Zone B – UG (57 points from three games), Transport Sports Club (43 points from three games), GYO (31 points from two games), GNIC (16 points from two games), and GDF (15 points from two games.
Noble House Seafoods second division two-day competition:
Zone A – Police (66 points from two three games), Sophia (44 points from three games), Ace Warriors and Malteenoes, both on 43 points from three games each), UG (19 points from two games, while GNIC and GDF with five points each after playing one game apiece.
Zone B – Everest and DCC both on 92 points after four games each, Transport (72 points from four games), GYO (66 points from four games), Diplomats (28 points from three games), GCC (20 points from two games).
New Building Society Second Division 40-Over cricket competition:
Zone A – UG (80 points), Ace Warriors CC (35 points), Police (18 points), MYO (19 points), Transport (60 points), Everest (26 points), GDF (13 points) and Diplomats (10 points).
Zone B – DCC (23 points), GCC (98 points), Third Class (26 points), Sophia (32 points), GYO (14 points), Malteenoes (19 points) and GNIC (3 points).
