TROY Rampersaud, 31, of Lot 24 Den Amstel, was put on $30,000 bail yesterday, at Vreed-en-Hoop Court, where he faced a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm. Before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus he pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which charged him with having, on June 2, at Anna Catherina, another West Coast Demerara village, assaulted his neighbour, Guru Singh called Ganesh.
The defendant will make his next appearance on September 6.
