THE mighty Alpha United will tackle Guyana Defence Force this evening in the feature match of the Georgetown Football Association/Cellink Plus Premier League Football tournament at the Tucville ground. Kick-off time is 20:00 h. In the curtain-raiser, bottom-of-the-table Uprising will meet Pele from 18:00 h.

For the feature match, Alpha United will be looking to Shawn Bishop, Quincy Madramootoo, Leon Grumble, Wendell St Hill, Kelvin Smith, Howard Lowe, Dwight Peters and Edison Gomes to come good, while GDF will rely heavily on Stellon David, Delsford David, Hubert Pedro, Devon Harris, Marlon Benjamin, Selwyn Isaacs and Seon Brewley.

Flamingo will be pinning their hopes on Leon Alleyne and Leon Hescott.

Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Sunburst Camptown beat Fruta Conquerors 2-0 in the feature match of the same competition while GFC and BK International Western Tigers played to a 3-3 draw.

Sceon Hope and Rishawn Sandiford scored for Sunburst Camptown in the 35th and 51st minutes respectively, while in the curtain-raiser, Peter Parks netted a double for GFC in the 18th and 79th minutes and Ansil Leach scored the other goal in the 52nd minute.

Scoring for Western Tigers were Devon Millington (8th and 87th) and Rayan Thomas (61st).
