WITH the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)-organised Demerara Under-19 Inter-Sub Association competition set to bowl off tomorrow, the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) has selected a 26-man squad which will undergo a practice session at the Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) ground from 13:00hrs today. Included in the squad are Guyana and West Indies Under-19 leg-spinner Amir Khan who played one first class match this year and West Indies Under-19 middle order batsman Kwame Crosse who may be entrusted with the captaincy responsibility of the team when it is selected.
The 26-man squad reads: Andrew Gibson, Jahron Byron, Amir Khan, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Christopher Surat, Danesh Mangal, Mohan Ramdeen, Alex Ramalho, Gavin Charles, Kevin Ogle, Raj Nanan, Raphael Singh, Trevon France, Winston Forrester, Mark Rhobe, Kareem Naughton, Kwame Crosse, Neil Barry Jr, Nichosie Barker, Safraz Esau, Shaquille Williams, Pernell London, Alvin Castello, Charwayne McPherson, Omesh Dhanram and Abdul Rahim.
