ERSS chalk up victory over LHS
EAST Ruimveldt Secondary School (ERSS) recorded a 3-0 victory over Lodge High School (LHS) when action in the Guyana Sports Development Foundation (GSDF)-organised, Scotiabank/Pepsi-sponsored football academy continued at the National Insurance Scheme ground, last Saturday.

Jamal Pedro (29th), Brandon Boston (40th) and Travil Preoint 60th minute were the goalscorers for ERSS, while in the other match played at the same venue, Queen’s College conceded a walkover from Christ Church.
Across at the Carifesta Sports Complex, North Georgetown female lineup drubbed Tutorial High School 5-0, with Althea Holligan netting helmet-trick in the 2nd, 20th, 50th and 55th minute while her team’s other goal came off the boot of Keneisha Stuart in the 27th minute.
East Ruimveldt and Lodge played to a nil-all draw at the same venue. The action will continue on Saturday with several matches in both the male and female categories at both venues.
