A Robb Street vendor was on Monday committed to stand trial in the High Court for the murder of Adrian Duncan, called ‘Timehri man’ or ‘Human’
Ryan Singh is accused of murdering Duncan on February 2, 2017, at Robb and Alexander Streets, Georgetown, and at the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) presided over by City Magistrate, Fabayo Azore, she concluded that there was enough evidence for Singh to face a judge and jury.
According to reports, on February 2, 2017, there was a confrontation after Singh reportedly confronted Duncan and accused him of ‘picking’ his pocket. Duncan became annoyed and armed himself with a piece of wood and attacked Singh.
Singh then pulled out a knife and stabbed Duncan to his neck and arm. Duncan was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he succumbed.
