At Berbice Assizes…
JUSTICE Winston Patterson, at the Berbice Assizes, has postponed the start of a carnal knowledge case to Tuesday.

The postponement was to give the accused, Harold Captain, time to contact his Defence Counsel. Captain told the judge that the attorney-at-law, Mr. Rodwell Jagmohan is currently out of the jurisdiction and is expected to back by weekend.

Consequently, the judge instructed prospective jurors for the trial to return Tuesday for possible selection.
