THE Berbice Volleyball Association’s quest to identify new talents in the sport will intensify when the grand finale of its Inter-Secondary School tournament takes place on Monday.
The day’s exciting match-ups will be played at the Port Mourant Training Centre with action starting at 09:30hrs.
The tournament comprised four zones namely New Amsterdam/Canje, Lower Corentyne, Central Corentyne, and Upper Corentyne.
The two top teams from each zones qualified for the grand finals.
The schools who qualified in the male category are Skeldon High, Tagore Memorial, Central Corentyne Secondary, Black Bush Secondary, Corentyne Comprehensive High, Port Mourant Secondary, Berbice High School and New Amsterdam Secondary.
The teams who qualified in the female category are: Line Path Secondary, Skeldon High, Central Corentyne Secondary, Manchester Secondary, Corentyne Comprehensive, Berbice High School and New Ansterdam Secondary.
Trophies were sponsored by the National Sports Commission (NSC) and the BVA.
