JAINARAINE Singh, 26, appeared before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcuson Wednesday, charged with using abusive language.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars which said it was committed on April 26 at La Grange, West Bank Demerara, on his common law wife, Satwanttie Satbajan. Police Sergeant Sherwin Matthews, prosecuting, did not object to bail for the defendant as he would remove from the home he shared with the virtual complainant and surety was set at $10,000 until May 6.
However, the case was transferred to Wales Court, also on West Bank Demerara.
