– Police team dispatched to the area
THE Guyana Police Force has dispatched a team of investigators to Kairko Village in Moruka, to investigate the death of a miner in that area in the North West District. The police said the team was dispatched following a report received that miner Fabian George, 25 years, was fatally chopped by a man with whom he had an argument.
According to the police, the incident is reported to have occurred at about 13:30 hrs on Tuesday, while they were imbibing at Kairko Village, Moruka, North West District.
