GILSHAN Bess, a housewife and market vendor of Sophia, told the Assize Court yesterday that she, her husband  and children were at home on December 7th, 2006, when an armed man attacked and killed her husband after demanding money. The woman was testifying at a trial at which Sherwin Smith is facing trial for the murder of Terrence Anderson.
According to the woman, the man with a strange voice had turned up at her home and called for Terrence. Her husband answered to the call and told the caller to meet him at the back door.
There, at the back door, the man, who was armed with a long gun, demanded money, and shot Terrence.
The trial continues today before Justice Roxanne George and a mixed jury.
