CITY MAGISTRATE Judy Latchman placed a man on $ 35,000 bail after he appeared before her on three charges.
Forty –two year old labourer, Peter Christie of Port Kaituma denied the allegation which stated that on June 14, 2017 at Port Kaituma, he stole 28 cases of empty bottles, property of John Britten.

He also denied the allegation that he displayed threatening behavior towards Holiya Spencer on June 21 at Water Front, Port Kaituma.
It is also alleged that on June 21, he resisted arrest from a peace officer, acting in the execution of his duties. Christie also denied that allegation.
Christie was also charged with disorderly behavior; however that matter was dismissed.
He was placed on bail and the matter was transferred to the Matthew’s Ridge Magistrate’s Court for August 8.
