THE body of a 58-year-old man was fished out of the Freeman Street, East La Penitence trench, Georgetown on Saturday.
The man of no fixed place of abode was identified only as “Matil.”
His body had no marks of violence and he was found in a checkered cap, blue three quartered pants, slippers and a red and white t-shirt.
A walking cane was also found at the scene.
A supervisor attached to a night shelter claimed that Matil was a resident at the said institution but was discharged in 2014.
