The police are so far clueless about the March 22 attack at the Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara residence of Shivnauth Ramroop by two gunmen.
According to information received, Ramroop was sleeping when he was awakened at about 01:00hrs by two strange voices calling at his gate, then he heard gunshots and his glass door and windows were smashed.
The homeowner fled through his back door and made a report at the Vreed-en-Hoop Police Station. The police later found spent shells at his home.
Investigations are ongoing.
