POLICE IN Barbados are investigating the murder of Guyanese Aubrey Buntin, known to his friends as ‘Tall Man’. The body of 42-year-old Buntin, formerly of Agricola, on the East Bank Demerara and the mining town of Linden, was discovered  with gunshot wounds to the upper body, around 05:30hrs yesterday, his birthday, at the gate of his Crystal Heights, St James home.
Buntin, who worked as a contractor, was reportedly last seen leaving a nightclub, where he had been celebrating with friends on Friday night. Reports are that he was headed for home, and that he was killed shortly thereafter. 
Some reports suggest that Buntin was shot in an apparent robbery, as he is known to wear lots of  jewellery, but sources on the island say nothing appears to have been taken from him.
Buntin, who lived alone, was married to a Bajan woman but the two had separated.
