Flash flood likely
THE Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Agriculture yesterday advised that “flash flooding” is likely for coastal, near inland areas and some areas in Regions Seven and Ten.
The advisory, which took effect from last night, said frequent light to moderate showers and light intermittent rain, are expected to  affect coastal Regions and some areas in Regions Seven, Eight and Ten.
The advisory said thunderstorms are also likely over inland areas of Region Three, Four and Six.
Rainfall expected to range between 5 mm to 30 mm, the highest over near
inland districts.
