ETHAN George (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged with larceny from the person.
He pleaded not guilty to having, on December 17, stolen a cellular phone valued $45,000 from Similla Sipanie.
Police Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, offered no objection to the grant and the defendant was put on $30,000 bail until December 29.
