Bolt determined to silence noisy opponents

WORLD’S fastest man Usain Bolt has promised that cynical opponents will feel the full force of his wrath when the Rio Olympic sprint events get under way next week.Bolt will be looking to become the first man in history to win the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relays at three consecutive Olympic Games.
The athlete’s preparations for the Olympics were hit with a setback last month after he suffered a hamstring strain at Jamaica’s national trials. Bolt, however, insists he has fully recovered and is now fit for his triple title defence.
“I think they have not learned over the years that the more you talk, the more I will want to beat you,” Bolt said on Wednesday.
“It’s one of those things, but I’m looking forward to it; should be exciting, and they will feel my full wrath as always,” he added.
“I’m feeling much more confident now. I’m much more comfortable with where I’m at.
“I never try to predict times, because you never know what will happen. But for me the shape I’m in, I’ll say I’m in much better shape, so I think 9.6 seconds definitely.”
A few American sprinters, including Bolt’s main rival Justin Gatlin seemed to be critical of the sprinter after he received a medical exemption for the 200m at Jamaica’s national trials. (Sportsmax.com.)
