Coleridge was murdered by the vilest of humanity

IT is with great regret and sadness that we dispatch this release on the murder of our Security Guard Simone Coleridge, and mother, Citizen of Guyana.

Ms. Coleridge was known to be a reliable security guard who dedicated herself to the Uncle Eddie’s Home due to her loving motherly nature of caring for the old and the ill. Her dedication was such that despite an offer to remove her, after a theft there, and even to close the security contract with the Home, she insisted on working there for she felt comfortable working in the building and also serving the inmates. It was her way of contributing to humanity while earning a living.

Here, a woman, a single parent, working to make ends meet, was murdered in a very vicious manner by the vilest of humanity. What they did to her does not take away her dignity as a human being or citizen, but displays the cruelty that man could inflict on his fellows. It displays the indignity of the vicious killers. We wonder how they could have gone home and slept. How could they awake the next morning and look themselves in the mirror, knowing that they murdered a working individual, working to sustain herself and her family, working to contribute to the nation by the National Insurance, and paying of taxes to benefit the country. By working she gainfully employed herself instead of seeking help from the government or anyone. She is a person who should be admired, enamoured and emulated.

On our part we are prepared to support in any way possible. While it seems someone is looking for a fight, it is time to mourn, and display respect to her dignity, and let her go to the creator in peace and love. RK’s will stand the cost of a decent funeral, or contribute substantially to assist if the family wants the most expensive one. We always assist with a decent funeral for our people. We have already paid $150,000.00 to Sandy’s Funeral Home. This covers all expenses, including a Semi – Casket, Tomb and Transport. Whatever benefits are refunded by the NIS for the funeral will stay with the family. We are also preparing an advertisement for the media to offer a reward for information leading to the arrest of the killers.

She and all employees in our company are fully covered with the national Insurance Scheme, in which all dependents are entitled to survivors benefits. In addition we have $1m. Accidental non- contributory insurance, covering all ranks and this is 24hr. coverage, on the job and off the job.

Death is always sad news. It “stings”, as the scriptures say but it is a thing which no one can escape whenever and however it visits. A death like this will linger and hurt us and the family for a long time. But we pray sincerely that the authorities will find the culprits, the vicious human vampires who sucked this child and mother of the universe’s life out of her body. We know they will pay here in this world and the after world. A woman, the mother is the salt of the earth, it is by her holy body only that life can create, emit, so that the earth and universe can endure. To hurt one woman is to hurt God, to hurt all women. Without woman, life would cease, time would stop, and the earth would go into decay. Oh man she is the portal of life, her womb the repository of souls, the handiwork of god. Because she exists, so do we.
May her soul rest in peace.
