IT’S PROM season, and hundreds of students will be attending this highly anticipated annual event. Young people have been donning tuxedos and dresses to eat, dance and have a good time as a formal means of bidding farewell to high school. Some of my best memories from secondary school are from my ‘prom’.
When it comes to ‘prom’, there is generally one big question: What to wear? Both guys and girls share the same concern; however, the guys always need the most help. ‘Prom’ can be a fun and memorable night, or it can be a big letdown. The difference doesn’t come from the ‘prom’ itself, but what you make of it. Special nights don’t just happen; you create them.
So, to help the guys plan and carry out a successful and memorable ‘prom’ night, I’ve engaged with some of the most stylish teens from various local schools.
My first choice would be the tuxedo, and these days, life gives you very few chances to wear a ‘tux’. So, enjoy it!
I suggest keeping it classic and simple. You can’t go wrong with a single-button jacket and traditional tuxedo trousers. You want something where you can look back at pictures 20 years later and think, “Man, I looked dapper! And look how much hair I had!”
Just remember, ‘prom’ is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so I do hope these ‘prom’ tips will help to make it a fun and stress-free night that will be remembered long past school days.
1: This expertly tailored suit is just right for so many occasions, including ‘prom night’: Not too slim; not too relaxed.
The cotton fabric is not too casual; not too dressy. Cool navy blue never goes out of style. Paired with a sleek, modern, slim-fit pants, it offers a universally sharp look for any gentleman.
2: The sharp, modern lines of the five-button vest refine any look. Pair with our tie and pants for a complete look; or you can use it casually to dress up a graphic ‘tee’ and jeans.
3: This is an impeccably sharp combination, with a touch of class, for the handsome young man.
Just because you’re going to the ‘prom’ doesn’t mean you have to lose your personal sense of style. Slim-fit pants with a shirt and tie will still turn heads.
4: A handsomely rich, gray tailored suit is essential for ‘prom’ season. Rendered in a cotton blend, its smooth, lustrous feel will make you feel like royalty.
