THE Lake Mainstay Regatta continues to grow every year. Hats off to the organisers and all those who in some way or the other continue to help and contribute to the holding of the event. Also special commendation to the government for the road and repairs to the bridges. The additional piece of road which is promised will continue to foster comfort of residents of the various Amerindian communities and the Resort visitors and tourism as a whole.
Mainstay Resort is one of our pristine nature resorts in the world, it is our thing and must be supported by all agencies ,it was good see His Excellency visiting the Regatta which is a testimony of government ‘s interest in the tourism industry and in the long term promoting a healthy nation. More events will be organise to entertain local visitors and I understand several water sports events are planned.
