THE GUYEXPO 2016 Planning Committee is assuring visitors and participants that this year’s event will supersede any other year in magnitude, quality and most importantly, impact. According to Public Relations Manager Lloyd David, exhibitor participation at this year’s GUYEXPO is expected to surpass that of previous years and, with just a few weeks left before the opening, exhibition spaces are running out.
He explained that with just under a month remaining, all indications suggest that this year the participation of exhibitors will surpass that of previous years.
While urging all interested participants to register as soon as possible, David is also encouraging all registered exhibitors to settle payments; this has become necessary because of the level of interest generated and participants will be chosen on a “first come, first served” basis.
Already, he said registration for some categories of exhibitors is closed. This will allow the organisers enough time to adequately address the accommodation, security, training and logistical needs of those exhibitors who are already onboard.
Additionally, early payment of the registration fee will allow for the timely processing of passes, badges and the finalising of other arrangements necessary for the successful hosting of this enormous event.
GUYEXPO 2016, which is slated for May 12- 15 under the theme “50 years: Guyana means business – Promoting Enterprise, Driving Productivity” will jump start the series of highly anticipated events as Guyana celebrates its 50th Independence anniversary.
This unique business event caters for all categories of businesses and will provide a platform for both local and foreign businesses including importers, exporters, retailers and wholesalers to interact and display the wide variety of products and services they have to offer.
A wide cross-section of producers of handicraft, furniture, garments, jewellery, horticulture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, financial, designs, food and beverages, information technology, cultural and entertainment businesses will participate in GUYEXPO 2016.
