Pakistan Women edge India in Delhi

Pakistan Women surprised hosts India with a two-run win in a rain-affected match at the World Twenty20 in Delhi.Pakistan restricted their fierce rivals to 7-2 from the six-over powerplay, before 24 from Veda Krishnamurthy helped India to 96-7.
Pakistan were in control of the chase at 71-3, but lost three wickets for six runs, including two run-outs in as many balls at the end of the 16th over.
But then the rain came with Pakistan ahead on the Duckworth-Lewis method.
It is only Pakistan’s third win in 18 World T20 matches and their second in seven games against India.
The result is a boost for England in Group B, with Charlotte Edwards’ side likely to have to compete with India and West Indies for a place in the semi-finals.
England, who won their opening game against Bangladesh, meet India in Dharamsala on Tuesday.
