THE BODY of an unidentified man was found late yesterday in the Botanical Gardens. The man, who appears to be middle-aged, was spotted by patrons enjoying the afternoon atmosphere at the gardens. He was wearing a red T-shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans. A pair of black Nike sneakers and a purple cap were found by his head. The police, up to press time, could not identify him. Speculations

of suicide were publicly expressed by onlookers who noticed a plastic cup tucked under his arm.
Concerns mounted after the cup, which some believe could aid in the investigation, was blown not too far from the body, and a man, believed to be a CID official, resorted to kicking it back to where it was first found.
