The $1.2B new wing at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) is progressing as per schedule. The new in-patient facility at the GPH expected to be completed in September will now be completed in January 2011. The upgrade of the facility is in keeping with GPHC’s master plan and the national development strategy to improve the quality and efficacy of health care services and at the end of the project the facility is expected to house approximately 300 patients.
