ORIN Moore, of Queen Street, South Cummingsburg, was placed on bail after he made his appearance before city magistrate Faith McGusty to answer a charge of unlawful and malicious wounding.The charge read that on December 20, 2015, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Alpha Fletchman. The facts of the matter were not stated.
The matter remained indictable, since the Administration of Justice Act was not applied, and Moore was not allowed to plead.
This was done so as to allow the prosecutor to seek advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The defendant, however, was granted bail in the sum of $50,000 and is expected to return to court on January 28, 2016, for report.
