SHAWN James, 27, of Republic Park, East Bank Demerara, yesterday appeared before City Magistrate Fabayo Azore where he plead not guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of a firearm without being the holder of a licence. It is alleged that on Friday, November 20 at 14-Mile, Issano, James had in his possession one Smith and Wesson 9MM pistol in his pants pocket.
He was remanded until December 7.
