It appears as if Ramjattan is being sidelined

AS one who followed the formation of the AFC and its gradual development as a political party , I am shocked by what appears to be a continued effort to sideline the co-chair and one of its founder members, Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan.
It was rumoured since the Hansard fiasco that Ramjattan was being undermined by forces within the AFC aligned to the party’s leaders,
Raphael Trotman. This came on the heels of Peter Ramsaroop’s appointment as the CEO of the party.  Many insiders within the AFC are of the opinion the Peter’s aim was to replace Ramjattan as co-chair and then remove Trotman as the absolute leader of the entity. Well by now we are all aware of Peter’s fetish and his subsequent arrest.
Hartley Henry arrives in the picture. Mr. Henry is a consultant with deep connections in Barbados. Mr. Henry met with Trotman, and yes Mr. Winston Murray of the PNCR in Ramjattan’s absence. One can rightly assume therefore that a coalition between the PNCR and the AFC was the issue being discussed. Therefore the question arises why was Ramjattan absent from such an important meeting? Why is the AFC silent on this issue even though their supporters are questioning whether the party is imploding and more appropriately; why is there a concerted effort from Trotman to remove Ramjattan.
On a final note, readers ought to be cognisant of the fact that the AFC built its platform on the basis of a rotation policy between the co-chairs, however from the above it is obvious that Trotman wants to relegate on that understanding and become the absolute leader of the Party, which will obviously be suicide on their part.
