COURTS Pee Wee U-11 Schools quarterfinals on today

THIS year’s semifinalists of the COURTS Pee Wee Under-11 Schools Football Tournament will be decided today when the quarterfinal stage is contested, along with the 9th to 16th-place playoffs at the Banks DIH ground, Thirst Park.The Petra-organised event kicks off at 10:00hrs as Winfer Gardens take on North Georgetown while F.E. Pollard battle St Stephen’s. St Agnes then oppose St Ambrose at 11:00hrs while Comenius engage Smith Memorial at the same time.
At noon, the first two scheduled quarter-final matches will get underway; St Margaret’s meet West Ruimveldt and Tucville tackle St Angela’s to see who will move one step closer to the title.
Defending champions Stella Maris tread a familiar road; this time their opponents will be Enterprise. On the other side of the park, St Pius, last year’s runners-up, challenge South Ruimveldt.
These two matches, which are scheduled to commence at 13:00hrs, will wrap up the day’s proceedings.
