ST ANGELA’S stormed to a 9-0 win over Sophia, compliments of a solid performance from Keyon Douglas who recorded five goals in their COURTS Pee Wee Under-11 Schools Tournament match yesterday at Banks DIH ground, Thirst Park.Douglas scored in the fourth, seventh, ninth, 11th and 16th minutes to wrap up his five before the half. He was supported by Antwoine Vincent who completed a brace (29th, 34th), Antonio McArthur (15th) and Kenroy Cadogan (30th).
St Agnes also cashed in big with a 5-0 win over Marian Academy. Doubles from Daniel Pollard (10th, 28th) and Ronald Abrams (16th, 40th) along with an 18th minute Mwange Smith goal, were enough to sink Marian Academy.
St Stephen’s, Enterprise and Tucville all won by 3-0 margins against J.E Burnham, the defending champions Stella Maris and School of the Nations respectively.
Ronaldo Forde scored in the tenth and 34th minutes while Otis Straughn found the back of the net in the 31st minute against J.E. Burnham.
A goal each from Seon Archibald (13th), Martin King (28th) and Garfield Caesar (32nd) ensured Enterprise’s win over Stella Maris.
Tucville’s Rayheim Marques led with a double even though Anthony Vandy drew first blood in the 11th minute against School of the Nations.
St Margaret’s Makhi Adams blasted a hat-trick in the opening minutes of the second half while his teammate Josiah King pitched in with a goal to sink Comenius Primary 4-0.
Winfer Gardens and St Pius defeated St Gabriel’s and North Georgetown 2-0, respectively. Makhaya Munroe scored both goals for Winfer Gardens while Sherwin Nelson and Selwyn Jones accounted for St Pius’ goals.
South Ruimveldt needled West Ruimveldt (1-0) with Zacharia Pemberton finding the decider in the 11th minute.
Rama Krishna and St Ambrose claimed walkover victories because St Sidwell’s and East La Penitence failed to produce a team at game time.
The only draw of the day took place between F.E. Pollard and Smith Memorial which ended 1-1. Dwayne Kellman drew first blood in the ninth minute for Smith Memorial but Jamal December equalised in the 28th minute.
