Guyana go down in Pan Am squash

GUYANA’S male squash team at the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, crashed out of the competition following valiant fights.In the first singles game Sunil Seth lost 3-0 to Guatemala’s Sedano Mauricio (11-9, 11-9, 11-5) while Jason Ray Khalil also lost 3-0 to Caballero Nicolas of Paraguay (11-2, 11-5, 11-4).
In his round-of-16 match, Seth lost 11-3, 11-8, 11-8 to Canada’s Delierre Shawn. In doubles competition, the team of Kristian Jeffrey and Khalil lost 11-5, 11-4 to Graeme and Andrew Schnell of the host country.
