THE highlights of the opening of the June criminal session in Demerara yesterday were the inspection of a Guard of Honour, and the taking of the salute during the march past of the parade by Justice Navindra Singh.

Justice Singh, who is seen inspecting the Guard of Honour drawn from 60 ranks of the Tactical Services Unit, is one of the three judges assigned to the session.
