In carnal knowledge case…
A FARMER was yesterday charged with having carnal knowledge of a member of his household.

Martin Revers, 37, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson on the indictable charge, which said, between January 1 and 23, 2009, he had carnal knowledge of an under 15-year-old.

But the man told the Court the virtual complainant forced herself on him.

The accused (no address given) was remanded to prison and the case was transferred to Kwakwani Court, along Berbice River, for February 19.
