MS. JANETTE Bulkan appears to be content with trivialising Suriname’s deliberate inclusion of Guyanese sovereign territory in a map purporting to show Surname’s boundaries (Kaieteur News letters, Tuesday January 19).

But this is something that Guyanese will always object to at all levels and at all fora.

The protection of our national patrimony and sovereignty are issues that are sacred to all Guyanese, regardless of ethnicity, religion or political allegiance.

This is something that we have always been united on and we cannot let Ms. Bulkan off the hook so easily for such a national travesty.

This is not the first time that Suriname has stooped to such underhand tricks and she should have denounced it without hesitation.
