KELLOGGS has been announced by the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) as the title sponsor for the 2026 National Senior Indoor Hockey Championships, which is set to be staged from November 3 to 8 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The tournament features teams in the women’s, men’s and over-40 ixed divisions battling for divisional national titles from the leading clubs GCC, Hikers, Old Fort, and Saints.
The men’s competition will feature Premier and Open divisions.

Each club’s top team will battle in the Premier Division, in preparation for the upcoming DMW International Indoor Hockey Festival.
President of the Guyana Hockey Board Phillip Fernandes, speaking to the Chronicle Sport, said senior players will now have more chances to battle for the titles against their peers.
“All the senior clubs, teams from men and women and masters, which is over 40, get a chance to compete for the national championships, and then at the beginning of December, we get to our annual Diamond Mineral Water International Hockey Festival, and this year that sounds really promising because they are teams from Trinidad and Canada in addition to top clubs from Guyana, and we think it will be a good show with high-level competition,” said Fernandes.
The GHB says they are grateful for Kellogg’s investment in local hockey, strengthening the sport from school programmes to senior competition and helping to keep generations of players involved in the game.
The six days of riveting action will showcase players, skills, speed, and that Kelloggs is the title sponsor for the Senior Nationals Hockey Championship.
