ANSA McAL renews official beverage partnership for DCB Franchise T10 Tournament

THE Demerara Cricket Board has received a major boost ahead of its marquee short-format competition, with corporate giant ANSA McAL locking in its commitment as the official beverage partner for the upcoming DCB Franchise T10 Tournament for the second consecutive year.
The partnership, anchored by the company’s Trinchloro and Heineken brands, was formally announced at a ceremony at ANSA McAL’s head office in Beterverwagting.
Trinchloro Brand Manager, Kristina Kanhai, expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration, emphasising the company’s dedication to grassroots sports and regional athletic excellence, while Heineken Brand Manager, Kristoff Stoll, promised fans and players that this year’s installment would be bigger and better.
DCB Secretary, Davteerth Anandjit, welcomed the continued support, highlighting the critical role corporate backing plays in fostering youth development across Demerara.
The action-packed tournament is scheduled to light up the LBI Ground on November 22, 2026. Play begins at 10:00 hours before moving into high-voltage night fixtures under floodlights, with admission at G$1,000.
Eight franchise teams featuring top talent from across the county will battle for supremacy under strict roster guidelines designed to protect and promote local talent.
Each 15-player squad must include at least 12 homegrown Demerara players, with a strict limit of three external recruits.
To champion long-term youth development, every franchise must include two Under-19 players in its squad, with at least one guaranteed a spot in the starting eleven.
