FIFTEEN young customers of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited have been recognised for outstanding performances at the 2026 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE).

The students, all RightStart account holders, were honoured during a special awards ceremony held at the bank’s head office at Promenade Court, Georgetown, on Friday.

The annual initiative is aimed at promoting academic excellence among Guyana’s youth by recognising the educational achievements of RightStart account holders.

Delivering the feature address, Managing Director of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited, Dr Toussant Boyce, congratulated the awardees and commended them for the effort, discipline, perseverance and determination demonstrated throughout their academic journeys.

Boyce said the students’ achievements reflected the value of sustained commitment to their education and encouraged them to maintain the same level of dedication as they pursue their future goals.

In recognition of their accomplishments, each awardee received a RightStart gift certificate and a special gift from the bank.

The awards form part of Republic Bank’s ongoing efforts to encourage young people to pursue academic excellence and recognise achievements among its RightStart customers.

The bank’s Board of Directors, management and staff extended congratulations to the awardees and wished them continued success in their studies and future endeavours.
