WESTERN Tigers saw four different scorers on Saturday as they captured a commanding win over debutant Camptown FC at the Guyana Football Federation National Training Centre on Saturday.
The Tigers secured all three points in the end, but it was Camptown’s Marlon Bethel who put his side on the score sheet in the opening minute of play.
Tigers’ Jamal Fraser found the equaliser 13 minutes into the encounter, which was followed up by Hakeem Legall in the 38th minute, putting the Tigers into the lead for the first time as they went into the half.
Michael Oie and Rondel Peters capped the victory with two late goals to secure the victory.
Meanwhile, Fruta Conquerors FC picked up their first win of season eight, a 1-nil victory over Ann’s Grove FC.
It was a dogged contest as Fruta Conquerors FC fought hard to secure the three points on offer.
