ON a good track at Providence last night, another capacity crowd watched as West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph captured 4-41 to bowl the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons to a convincing 65-run victory, breaking the Guyana Amazon Warriors’ six-match winning streak.
Set 183 to win after the Falcons’ last three overs cost 60 runs, the Warriors were bowled out for 117 in 14.2 overs.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Karima Gore and Evin Lewis added 31 in 3.4 overs before Gore, who hit four boundaries, including a six off Dwaine Pretorius in his 23, was removed by Khary Pierre.

Lewis hit sixes off Pierre and Mohammad Nabi in consecutive overs to reach 50 in the seventh over.
However, with the score at 55 in the eighth over, 47-year-old Warriors skipper leggie Imran Tahir trapped Lewis lbw for 22.
The South African veteran celebrated with trademark arms open wide as he ran towards another vocal crowd.
Amir Jangoo and Hasan Nawaz brought up the century at the end of the fourteenth over, but Nabi broke the 47-run stand when he dismissed Jangoo for 27 from 30 at 103-3.
Nawaz fell to Shamar Joseph for 36 with three fours and two sixes at 120-4 in the 17th over, and someone needed to step on the gas.
Skipper Moeen Ali clobbered Romario Shepherd for a couple of sixes before he was caught at short third off the fifth ball of the 18th over, which cost 15 runs.
Nineteen runs came off the penultimate over from Joseph, with Fabian Allen hitting a six and Shadab Khan finding the boundary before Allen missed one, but it went for four leg-byes.
Khan launched a brutal assault on Shepherd, dumping him for three consecutive sixes before finishing off the over, which leaked 26 runs, with a boundary.
Khan finished unbeaten on 30 from nine balls with two fours and three sixes, while Allen hit a six in his 11 as the pair added 46 from 16 balls to silence the partisan crowd.
The two Berbician pacers conceded 60 runs in the last three overs.
Shepherd took 1-51 from his four overs, while Joseph got 1-40 from his four overs.

Nabi (1-23) and Tahir (1-21) were the best bowlers for the Warriors, who began their chase in an ultra-aggressive fashion.
Gurbaz hit Alzarri Joseph for two sixes in the first over before Jayden Seales was hammered for a six and a four in the second over by 21-year-old Mavindra Dindyal.
The flag-waving fans danced to the pulsating rhythms from the music system and the Tassa drummers as they found their voices again.
But the pumped-up Joseph, who clocked 145 km, removed both openers after the 50 came in 5.1 overs.
Joseph also removed Shai Hope for a duck, but at 54-3 inside five overs, the Warriors were still ahead of the game.
However, the Warriors suffered a colossal collapse, losing the next six wickets for 45 runs.
Shimron Hetmyer, who scored 111 in his 100th CPL game and followed it up with an unbeaten 30, again flattered to deceive.
After being dropped off Joseph’s bowling, first ball, looking to clear the infield, the left-hander fell to Joshua James for four on 59-4.

After Hetmyer’s demise for his second consecutive single-digit score, only Nabi, who was last out for 23, showed fight.
Joseph received support from James, Khan and Sufyan Moqim, who took two wickets to bowl their team into the top two. The Warriors already qualified for the play-offs in Barbados.
Gurbaz and Nabi, who were scheduled to depart last Sunday night, will now leave in time for Afghanistan’s opening T20 game against India next Sunday.
The Warriors face St. Lucia Kings today at 7 PM before rounding off the home games on Friday against the TKR.
