DETECTIVES in Regional Division Six are investigating the suspected suicide of 29-year-old Police Corporal Javier Adrian, who was found unresponsive at his home in Kildonan Village, Corentyne, on Thursday evening.
Police said the incident occurred at about 18:45 hrs on August 27, 2026.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Adrian was found unresponsive on the upper flat of the building.
Police ranks, accompanied by a Crime Scene Technician, subsequently visited and processed the scene.
The corporal’s body was examined, and no marks of violence were observed, according to police.
He was taken to the Port Mourant Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor.
The body is currently at Ramoo’s Funeral Parlour, where it is awaiting a post-mortem examination.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Adrian’s death are continuing.
