Gov’t invites Guyanese to help shape national Orange Economy Policy

THE Government of Guyana has called on creatives, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and members of the public to lend their voices to the development of the country’s Orange Economy Policy Document, a framework aimed at strengthening and expanding Guyana’s cultural and creative industries.

Public input is being sought across a wide range of creative sectors, including visual arts, fashion, music, film, literature, heritage tourism, festivals, and culinary arts.

According to a poster from the authorities, the ideas and recommendations gathered through this consultation process will play a key role in unlocking the full potential of Guyana’s creative economy and shaping policies that support its long-term growth.

Members of the public were encouraged to participate by scanning the available QR code or clicking the provided link to submit their recommendations.

Through this initiative, the government is aiming to build a stronger, more vibrant and more inclusive creative economy that reflects the diverse talents and cultural heritage of the Guyanese people nationwide.
