It added that the first book is the June issue of Amrapali Magazine, which has been specifically conceptualised around Guyana itself. Through her work, Dr Bhagawati has endeavoured to capture the essence of this remarkable country, its vibrant spirit, its rich multicultural tapestry, and the vision that drives it forward.

Her second book is a profound work on the classical Indian dance form, Kathak. This book is the culmination of her lifetime of dedication to the art, a scholarly text that seeks to preserve the grace, storytelling, and discipline of Kathak for future generations.
