WHETHER you believe that the unholy exists, or that deception is nothing more than human bad mind, pay attention, and prepare at home for in-house social conflict, because yuh grown-up baby may be more vulnerable as a victim of overconfidence than as a shrewd loner learning from a functional memory of fallen friends, consoling self as just their fault, with no enquiry of why it happened, bro.
In a world governed by imagery that casts realms of adventure but withholds the inner turmoil that forces us towards a quest for compassion and guidance, there are other things that whisper, offering a release we must be aware of.
There was a time when a few beers were the soothing masseur of troubled times, when this or that which seemed friendly had changed into what we may term “greater demons” or vices, which have manifested, seeking souls to envelop and offer the worst in a cluster of welcoming whispers that are nothing but enticing lures.
Whether it is alcohol or COCAINE, it will be an unprepared burden for an individual to bear, but the new burden is when it then expands, and the initial contention fades away, and directives evolve from the memory into a metaphor that expresses itself as initiating blame in victims, to face the being in the mirror, where shortcomings and private guilt are exiled.
A phantom world comes alive, to escape in, to look back, or look around and blame where self has failed to all around. As a parent of an addict, addiction induces a new logic of self-righteousness and self-persecution from all else, an elite ‘being’ who alone has risen beyond SELF-GUILT, and the consequence of folly inflicted on self by self, in the failure of denouncing the whispers and challenges of ‘hype’ used to consume the guardians of self, to become the victim, and to unleash blame against all else.
Except the new master that will mock and applaud the woe and agony of those bewildered kin and brethren who feel, and those who care, and helplessly stare at their bounty in the embrace of the true hopelessness.
Let’s look at the true horror and learn enough to defy its mockery, in good time.
