REGIONAL Executive Officer (REO) Deolall Rooplall on Wednesday continued his community outreach programme with a meeting involving the Toshao and Village Councillors of Mashabo Village, Region Two.

The engagement formed part of the Regional Administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen communication with communities and address issues affecting residents at the grassroots level.

During the meeting, Toshao Giddel Abrams welcomed the initiative, describing it as a valuable opportunity for the Village Council to raise concerns, discuss development priorities, and work collaboratively with regional officials to find practical solutions for the benefit of the community.

The REO was accompanied by a team of senior regional officials, including the Deputy Regional Executive Officer, Regional Health Officer, Assistant Regional Executive Officer, Regional Engineer, Regional Education Officer, and Community Development Officer. Their presence allowed for discussions on a range of matters relating to health, education, infrastructure, and community development.

Rooplall reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to ensuring that communities remain actively involved in the decision-making process and that development initiatives reflect the needs of residents.

The administration said engagements of this nature are essential to fostering stronger partnerships with local leaders and ensuring that development efforts remain inclusive and people-centred across Region Two.
