THE Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has resumed operations at the Soesdyke Registration Sub-Office, Te Huist Te Coverden NDC Compound, effective Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

The office had been temporarily relocated to the Diamond Registration Office in December 2025 to facilitate repairs to the building.

“With those repairs now completed, eligible persons within the Garden of Eden to Timehri and Moblissa catchment area are encouraged to visit the Soesdyke Registration Office to conduct their registration transactions, especially during the upcoming registration exercise scheduled to begin on July 1, 2026,” GECOM said.

GECOM expressed its appreciation to the public, especially those affected by the temporary relocation of the office, for their patience, understanding, and co-operation.

The Commission said it looks forward to continuing to serve the public with professionalism and excellence.
