Braving inclement weather conditions, hundreds of citizens on Monday gathered at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC) to meet with government officials to address varying concerns and challenges.

Many received on-the-spot responses after engaging directly with Vice President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo and other cabinet members.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the public engagement Dr. Jagdeo affirmed that the People’s Progressive Party/ Civic (PPP/C) government is focused on realising the promises made during its campaign to the September 2025 polls.

“We’ve done the campaign, and now we have to deliver on what we promised our people on the campaign. Jagdeo said.

Elderly, differently abled persons and women with children are being prioritised as meetings are ongoing. Young persons have also been engaging officials; many seeking support to further tertiary studies and pursue opportunities for small contracts and business ventures.
