THE Guyana Police Force Football Club received a significant boost on Friday with the presentation of football gear from Pele Alumni Corporation, in a gesture that underscored continued support for the development of the sport within the Force.
The handover was done at the Guyana Police Force Sports Department, Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary.
The presentation was made by members of Pele Alumni Corporation, including President Dennis Carrington, Treasurer Patrick Barton, Executive Eric Smith and Earl O’Neil, all of whom are former national players who have made meaningful contributions to football in Guyana over the years.
The gear was accepted on behalf of the Guyana Police Force by Sports Development Officer, Colin Boyce, who expressed appreciation for the timely and thoughtful support. The presentation reflected a shared commitment to the advancement of football and the importance of investing in programmes that continue to nurture discipline, teamwork and talent.
