ANOTHER capacity crowd turned up at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary, yesterday as the Hinterland team (Regions one, seven, eight and nine) and Region Three notched victories in the Commissioner’s Cup T20 cricket tournament.
In the morning game, Region Three beat Region 10 by 100 runs. Region Three scored 218-7 in 20 overs. David Huges (59) and Micheal Jobe (58) getting half-centuries while Dacquan Campbelle chipped in with 21.
Michal Fredericks captured 3-47 for Linden who were bowled for 119 as only Tyrick Henry (29) passing 20. Hemraj Persaud claimed 5-20.

In the afternoon encounter, Lynsford Williams made 51 and Damian VanTull clobbered 64 as the Hinterland team reached 174 in 16 overs.
Joshua Graderner claimed 4-29 and Rondel Wills took 2-21 for 4A/4B combined who fell for 121.
Troy Drakes (41) and Quinsy Semple (22) doing the scoring as Marlon Lord (3-30) and Kelvin Mendonca (3-35) picked up six wickets between them.
The competition continues with action today.
