THE Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has formally recognised the champions of the 2025 Senior National Table Tennis Tournament, marking a changing of the guard in the women’s division and confirming the continued dominance of the men’s top player.
The presentation ceremony, held at the Guyana Olympic Association conference room, celebrated the winners across singles, doubles, and class categories.
The headline news came from the Women’s Singles final, where 15-year-old Jasmine Billingy secured her first-ever senior national championship title. Billingy overcame Samara Sukhai, who finished second, with Nevaeh Clarkson and Akira Watson sharing third place.

Billingy also had a sensational tournament, adding the Women’s Doubles title to her singles triumph, partnering with runner-up Samara Sukhai.
